Biography
Haru Sukegawa (助川晴瑠) is a Contemporary Artist born in Japan. From a very young age, she was raised in China. Haru was already at a young age in contact with creative expression. During her school days, she often drew and captured the world around her. After graduating from an international high school, Haru chose to follow her dream of pursuing art professionally. Through a string of coincidences, she found herself in Minerva Art Academy in the Netherlands. During her study at the academy, Haru developed her art style, for which she is now recognized. Her artworks document her fascination with patterns and collections. Many people find repetitiveness overwhelming, but for Haru, it is calming and meditating. Through her art, she can express herself and collect her thoughts. Filling every space on the paper in front of her with patterns inspired by her collection of fascinations, Haru can express herself and collect her thoughts, while also creating an exciting image that guides the viewer’s eyes.
