Biography
Haru is a Meditative Pattern Artist, born in Japan, who has spent much of her life immersed in different cultures. Raised in China from a young age, she was exposed to diverse forms of creative expression early on. Throughout her school years, Haru developed a passion for drawing and capturing the world around her. After graduating from the Hangzhou International School, Haru followed her dream of pursuing art professionally in Europe. She studied at the Minerva Art Academy in the Netherlands, where she honed her skills and began shaping the distinctive style she is now known for as a Meditative Artist. At the core of Haru’s work lies the creation of intricate patterns designed to evoke a meditative experience for her audience. While repetitive patterns can often feel overwhelming to many, Haru finds them calming and soothing. For her, filling every space on the paper or canvas with these patterns offers a profound sense of tranquility, serving as a form of stress release. A recurring motif in her work is the circle, a shape she believes holds infinite possibilities for expression. Haru’s current exploration involves experimenting with the combination of various colors and patterns within the circle, seeking new ways to deepen the meditative effect of her art. Through her art, Haru invites viewers to experience a moment of stillness, offering an escape from the noise of everyday life and an opportunity to reconnect with inner peace.
